Common questions
Why was my character marked wrong when it looks right?
The grader checks stroke order and direction as well as shape. Review the feedback for each stroke, or choose Forgiving grading in Settings for wider tolerances. If a result seems incorrect, please send us a screenshot and the character.
Does it need an internet connection?
Writing practice and reference data work offline. Opening external support or licence links may use an internet connection.
Which kana are included?
The app covers 46 basic hiragana and 46 basic katakana characters. Dakuten variants, small kana and digraphs are not included as separate exercises.
Can I turn off automatic marking?
Yes. Open Settings and change the option for what happens after the final stroke. You can also choose whether to move on automatically after a correct character.
How do I change the language?
Open Settings → Language to choose English or Japanese. By default, the interface follows your device language, using English when that language is not supported.

Please describe what happened and the steps that led to the problem. Include a screenshot if it helps, and remove personal information you do not want to share. See the privacy policy for how support messages are handled.
