Common questions

How are recurring errors identified?

The app groups marked strokes from the last thirty days by stroke type, such as horizontal or vertical. It shows a pattern once there are enough examples and can suggest characters for practicing that type of stroke.

Does it need an internet connection?

All 6,430 characters and the available reference data are included in the app. Writing practice works offline. Opening external support or licence links may use an internet connection.

How does a character count as completed?

A completed attempt is added to your progress when the stroke feedback reports no errors and the writing meets the app’s basic scoring threshold.

Can I turn off automatic marking?

Yes. Open Settings and change the option for what happens after the final stroke. You can also choose whether to move on automatically after a correct character.

How do I change the language?

Open Settings → Language to choose English or Japanese. By default, the interface follows your device language, using English when that language is not supported.
